ANTS, BOOKLICE, CENTIPEDES, CLOVER MITES, CRICKETS, MILLIPEDES, ROACHES, SILVERFISH, SOWBUGS AND SPIDERS:
Inject into cracks and crevices in all hiding places behind baseboards, sinks, cabinets, meter boxes, doorframes, and windows. GENERAL VOLUMETRIC TREATMENT: Open cabinets and doors in area to be treated. Turn off air conditioners, fans and close doors and windows before treating. Apply at the rate of 20 sec/1,000 ft³ of space. Disperse toward area suspected of harboring the greatest insect infestations. Disperse in all locations contacting as many insects as possible. Keep area closed for 15 min. Open and thoroughly ventilate the treated area before reoccupying. Repeat treatment as necessary.
BED BUGS:
Take bed apart. Treat joints and channels if hollow, such as square or round tubing, and treat the interior framework. Treat mattresses, especially tufts, folds and edges. Cover mattresses before use. Allow mattresses to dry thoroughly and cover with clean bedding before using. Bed Bugs may also harbor in areas of the room away from the bed. Apply Prescription Treatment brand Crack & Crevice III Phenothrin as a Crack & Crevice or spot treatment to night stands and other furniture in the room, wall voids, behind wall hanging, floor molding, window casings, carpet edge, popcorn ceilings and other cracks & crevices.
LICE AND LICE EGGS:
Do Not use on humans or animals. Treat an inconspicuous area to test for possible staining or discoloration. Inspect after drying, then treat entire area. Hold container upright with actuator opening directed away from you and apply from a distance of 18". Treat at the rate of 1 sec/ft². Treat all mattresses, furniture or similar objects that cannot be laundered or dry-cleaned. Do not use article until treated area is dry. Repeat treatment as necessary.
HOUSE DUST MITES:
Do Not use on humans or animals. Treat at the rate of 1 sec/4 ft². Treat an inconspicuous area to test for possible staining or discoloration. Inspect this area after drying, then treat infested areas only if staining or discoloration has not occurred. Hold container upright with actuator opening directed away from you and apply from a distance of 18". Treat all mattresses, box springs, upholstery, carpet, rugs or other infested objects that cannot be laundered or dry-cleaned. Do not use article until treated area is dry. Repeat treatment as necessary.
Vacuum the entire room 24 - 48 hr after treating, including box springs, mattresses, carpeting, drapes, furnace and air vents to remove all dust from treated area.
WASPS:
For treatment of these pests inside structural voids, hollow trees and other nesting sites locate all insect entrances. Close all but one opening if possible. Determine size of void. Inject 5 - 10 sec/3 ft³ of void into remaining opening. For best results, treat at dusk or later.
BEES, INCLUDING HONEY AND AFRICANIZED BEES: For treatment of these pests inside structural voids, hollow trees and other nesting sites locate all insect entrances. Close all but one opening. Determine size of void. Inject 5 - 10 sec/3 ft³ of void into remaining opening. For best results, treat at dusk or later. If the honeycombs are accessible, dispose of the combs by burying or burning. DO NOT CONSUME THE HONEY OR HONEYCOMBS. MUD DAUBER AND WASP NESTS: Apply mist directly on insects and their nest from approximately 18". Applications should be made in late evening when insects are at rest. Dispense into hiding and breeding places contacting as many insects as possible.
FOR EXPOSED ADULT AND LARVAL STAGES OF CARPET BEETLES, CIGARETTE BEETLES, CONFUSED FLOUR BEETLES, DRUGSTORE BEETLES, GRAIN MITES, GRANARY WEEVILS, RED FLOUR BEETLES, RICE WEEVILS AND SAWTOOTHED GRAIN BEETLES: Contact as many insects as possible. Inject into cracks and crevices where insects harbor. Apply around cartons and containers where these insects tend to congregate. GENERAL VOLUMETRIC TREATMENT: Apply 20 sec/1,000 ft³. Repeat treatment weekly or as insects appear. Infested stored products should be fumigated or treated by other effective methods using an approved product intended for this purpose.
ANGOUMOIS GRAIN MOTH, CHOCOLATE MOTH, INDIANMEAL MOTH, MEDITERRANEAN FLOUR MOTH:
Turn off ventilation equipment. Close all doors and windows. Direct into all parts of room, especially around stored product containers, pallets and darkened areas. Apply 5 - 10 sec/1,000 ft³. Keep area closed for 15 min following treatment. Open and thoroughly ventilate before reoccupying. Repeat treatment weekly or as necessary. Infested stored products should be fumigated or treated by other effective methods using an approved product intended for this purpose.
FLEAS IN BUILDINGS - GENERAL VOLUMETRIC TREATMENT:
Hold product 36" above floor and direct toward floor and lower walls at a rate of 10 sec/100 ft² making sure that all floor, sofa and chair surfaces are contacted. Keep area closed for 15 min. Open and thoroughly ventilate before reoccupying. Repeat treatment after 7 days or as necessary.
TICKS:
Holding container 36" above the floor, direct Prescription Treatment brand Crack & Crevice III Phenothrin toward pet beds and resting quarters. Treat adjacent cracks and crevices such as behind baseboards and edges of carpet and floor covers. Treat higher cracks such as upper door jams and window framing, behind pictures where females may crawl to lay eggs. Repeat treatment as necessary.
VOLUMMETRIC TREATMENT FOR VOID AREAS: (Attics, false ceilings, crawl spaces, wall and equipment voids.) For application with Whitmire Crack & Crevice® actuator & injection tubes.
For exposed stages of ants, beetles, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, millipedes, silverfish, sowbugs and spiders harboring in voids, calculate void volume and treat at a rate of 29 sec/1,000 ft³. Repeat treatment as necessary.
OUTDOOR GROUND APPLICATION: Flies, Gnats and Mosquitoes in open areas near buildings and in campgrounds. Best results are obtained when wind speed is 5 mph or less. Apply at a rate of 1.5 - 2 sec/1,000 ft². Apply in wide swaths across area to be treated. Allow treatment to penetrate dense foliage. Repeat treatment as necessary.
