After years of extensive research, Bell scientists have developed TERAD3 AG for rodent control in the rapidly growing organic production market and TERAD3 for structural pest control. These Vitamin D3 baits kill anticoagulant-resistant rats and mice yet substantially reduce the risk of secondary poisoning. They also pose low toxicity to birds.
Terad3 and Terad3 Ag are major new rodenticide introductions that address today’s focus on performance and the rapidly growing organic production market, respectively. Terad3 Ag is the first and only rodenticide registered by the EPA ‘for organic production’. It can be used in or around organic food storage, warehousing and distribution centers as well as animal production facilities. Terad3 and Terad3 Ag are available in both blox and pellets.
For the structural pest control market, Bell offers TERAD3 BLOX and pellets. "TERAD3 uses the same formulation as TERAD3 AG so it has all the features and benefits of Terad3 AG - low toxicity to birds, kills anticoagulant-resistant rats and mice, stop-feed action, palatability, durability, weatherability and no secondary poisoning.Terad3 uses the same formulation as Terad3 Ag, but has a broader label allowing it to also be used in residential commercial, industrial and retail applications. However, Terad3 is not labeled ‘for organic production’.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Cholecalciferol 0.075%
After years of researching the most effective formulation for housing this unique active ingredient, Bell scientists have found the perfect match - a denser, tightly compacted 1-oz. extruded BLOX with superb durability and weatherability.
Incorporating an advanced preservation system, Terad3 BLOX is mold and moisture resistant. Its high melting point keeps the bait stable in temperatures as high as 200 degrees F. Equally outstanding is the bait's palatability. Terad3 also has a recognized stop-feed action, reducing the need for extensive and continued bait. Ultimately this results in lower total bait consumption with greater cost savings.
Terad3 BLOX with Vitamin D3 kills anticoagulant-resistant rats and mice yet substantially reduces the risk of secondary poisoning. It also poses low toxicity to birds. With BLOX, bait translocation is also reduced. Terad3 BLOX has a broad label which makes it an excellent choice for controlling rodents at agricultural and animal production facilities, warehousing and food processing plants, as well as for commercial and residential accounts.
Vitamin D3 BLOX for organic production
TERAD3 Ag BLOX is the first and only rodenticide registered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for organic production. This unique bait gives PMPs access to a top quality rodenticide for organic facilities where previously no baiting options were available.
With its EPA-approved label, TERAD3 Ag BLOX can be used in all types of organic production, including farming, animal production, warehousing/storage and food processing. It can be used in and around agricultural buildings, including swine, poultry, cattle and dairy facilities. However, it cannot be used in the fields or orchards where crops are growing.
TERAD3 Ag combines the most recent advances in bait formulation with the low hazard benefits of Vitamin D3. TERAD3 Ag BLOX kills anticoagulant-resistant rats and mice yet substantially reduces the risk of secondary poisoning. It also poses low toxicity to birds.
For years, Vitamin D3 was the only active ingredient for rodent control approved for use in organic production. Now, with the introduction of TERAD3 Ag, this unique active ingredient is available as a newly formulated product- a denser, tightly compacted 1-oz. extruded BLOX with superb durability.
A highly weatherable BLOX, TERAD3 Ag incorporates an advanced preservation system, making the bait mold and moisture resistant. Its high melting point keeps the bait stable in temperatures as high as 200 degrees F. With BLOX, bait translocation is also reduced
.Equally outstanding is the bait's palatability, and its active and inert ingredients meet the organic materials requirements for Organic Materials Research Institute (OMRI) listing. TERAD3 Ag also has a recognized stop-feed action, reducing the need for extensive and continued bait use. Rodents typically stop feeding after a day or two, which ultimately results in lower total bait consumption with greater cost savings.

All bait placements must be inside or within 50 feet of buildings. All baits placed in USDA- inspected facilites must be in tamper-resistant bait stations. Do not place bait in areas where there is a possibility of contaminating food or feed or surfaces that come in direct contact with food or feed.
IMPORTANT: Do not expose children, pets, or nontarget animals to rodenticides. To help to prevent accidents:
1. Store unused product out of reach of children and pets.
2. Apply bait in locations out of reach of children, pets, domestic animals and nontarget wildlife, or in tamper-resistant bait stations. These stations must be resistant tdestruction by dogs and by children under six years of age, and must be used in a manner that prevents such children from reaching into bait compartments and obtaining bait. If bait can be shaken from bait stations when they are lifted, units must be secured or otherwise immobilized. Stronger bait stations are needed in areas open to hoofed livestock, raccoons, bears, or other potentially destructive animals, or in areas prone to vandalism.
3. Dispose of product container and unused, spoiled or unconsumed bait as specified on this label.
USE RESTRICTIONS: This product may only be used to control Norway rats, roof rats and house mice and may be used at the following sites:
• in and around homes industrial buildings and similar man-made structures;
• in and around agrcultural buildings, including swine, poultry, cattle, and dairy facilities, warehouses, and food storage areas;
• in transport vehicles (ships, trains, aircraft) and in and around related port and terminal buildings; and
• in alleys.
SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS:
Determine areas where rats or mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where signs of rats or house mice have been seen. Protect bait from rain and snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.
TERAD 3 BLOX APPLICATION DIRECTIONS :
Norway and Roof Rats: Use 2 to 8 bait blocks per placement. Space placements at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested areas. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until there no longer are signs of recent feeding on bait by rats.
House Mice: Use 1 bait block per placement. Space placements at intervals of 8 to 12 feet in infested areas. Two bait blocks per placement may be used at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until there no longer are signs of recnt feeding on bait by house mice.
FOLLOW-UP:
Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and leftover bait. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.
