Gentrol IGR Aerosol is a non repellent insect growth
regulator. It offers long term control and is compatible in baiting
programs. Gentrol Aerosol can reach the cockroach
nymphs that fail to forage the baits and this insect growth regulator
stimulates the egg bearing female to leave the harborage and feed.
Roaches
exposed to Gentrol Aerosol will become adults incapable of reproducing.
Cockroaches exposed to Gentrol
IGR Aerosol will become adults incapable of reproducing.
Gentrol Aerosol disrupts the normal life cycle of stored
product pests;thus killing these insects during the pupal stage.
It is intended to use, but not limited to apartment buildings, breweries
, cafeterias, candy plans, grocery stores, day care centers, hospitals, residential
homes,office buildings,kitchens,laboratories,cereal processing plants,manufacturing
plants,restaurants, schools,locker rooms,warehouses,pet stores, as well
as various modes of transportation.
Gentrol IGR may be applied to a variety of locations and surfaces .
May be applied as a general surface
spray, spot or crack and crevice application.
The supplied extension tube can be used to apply cracks and crevices.
GENTROL IGR POINT SOURCES
All the benefits of an insect growth regulator in a discreet, non-spray formulation.
Reduces Roach and Stored Product Pest Populations in a way conventional Insecticides can not.
Labeled For Use In Food Handling Establishments
*No need to vacate areas during treatment. *Low toxicity.
Active Ingredient:
Hydroprene 90.60%
A cockroach/stored product pest(red, confused flour, and merchant beetles) device that prevents roach reproduction by releasing the Gentrol insect growth regulator (IGR) into a treatment area.
Plastic disks, that when squeezing the raised end of the device-penetrates 75 sq. ft. ,breaking the growth cycle-lasts 3 months. That way, pre-adult stored product pests never need to come in contact with the device. See Figure A.
Place the Gentrol Point Source device in areas where roach or stored product pest activity has been observed.
Pay particular attention to locations of roach activity. More devices may be needed in areas with a heavy roach infestation. Gentrol Point Source IGR may be used in areas where food is handled or prepared. Do not place the devices in direct contact with food preparation surfaces or within two feet of exposed food.
One to two weeks after application, you will begin to see roaches with crinkled wings, showing the initial effects of Gentrol. Gentrol point sources prevents stored product pests from becoming adults thus breaking the life cycle.
Activating Gentrol Point Source IGR is as simple as squeezing the raised end of the plastic, adhesive-back device. This releases Gentrol IGR onto a filter paper.Once in place gentrol will move into a 75 foot area and last 90 days.
Since the molecules are heaver than air they are carried by currents into roach or stored product pests' hiding places.
Simply place these small stations in areas where roaches/stored product pest have infested.
Because immature roaches are prevented from developing into reproductive adults, this product effectively breaks the roach life cycle. By inhibiting reproduction, Gentrol Point Source, by itself, will control cockroach populations over time.
For faster results, Gentrol Point Source may be used in conjunction with EPA approved products that kill roaches and stored product pests(red, confused flour, and merchant beetles). Roach populations are difficult to control because roaches reproduce so rapidly. However, when a conventional insecticide designed to kill roaches does not provide 100% elimination,
Gentrol Point Source will prevent survivors from re-establishing the population.
Once Gentrol Point source is released, the active ingredient moves from the Gentrol Point Source device into a localized area. Roaches and stored product pest do not have to come in contact with the Gentrol Point Source device to be affected.
Gentrol Point Source can be used in buildings and modes of transportation. Permitted sites of application include restaurants, homes, hotels, kitchens, laboratories, apartment buildings, day care centers, machinery, equipment, greenhouses, hospitals, mausoleums, nursing homes, office buildings, schools and warehouses. Gentrol Point Source is also intended to be used in various modes of transportation including but not limited to aircraft, buses, trucks, trailers, rail cars and marine vessels.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Figure A
Roaches or Stored Product Pest do not have to come into contact with the GENTROL POINT SOURCE to be affected (See Figure A).
Do not activate the GENTROL POINT SOURCE device until ready to use. To activate the GENTROL POINT SOURCE, press firmly between thumb and forefinger on the pouch located on the side of the device, until a snapping sound is heard, indicating that the GENTROL-containing capsule has been opened (See Figure B). Following activation, the GENTROL POINT SOURCE is now ready to apply. The GENTROL POINT SOURCE device may be placed in any position

Place the GENTROL POINT SOURCE IGR device in areas where roach or SPP activity has been observed. These areas include: in and around cabinets, closets, pantries, drawers, refuse areas, electrical boxes, equipment, and false ceilings. Also, place around doors, expansion joints, pipe chases, dressers, windows, heating and air conditioning ducts, refrigerators, and voids where pests are active. One GENTROL POINT SOURCE device may be placed to treat up to a 75 square foot area, paying particular attention to locations of roach or SPP activity. More devices may be needed in areas with a heavy roach or SPP infestation. IMPORTANT! In order for the GENTROL POINT SOURCE to adhere properly, wipe surface clean prior to application. Use as many tape strips as needed. For vertical placement, expose sticky surface by removing paper backing and pressing the device firmly in place. Replace all devices every 3 months for continued effectiveness (See Figure C).

FOOD HANDLING ESTABLISHMENTS
GENTROL POINT SOURCE IGR may be used in areas where food is handled or prepared. Placements include areas for receiving, storage, packing, edible waste storage, machinery, and enclosed processing systems (mills, dairies, edible oils, syrups). Serving areas would also be considered as a food area. The GENTROL POINT SOURCE may also be applied to non-food areas of food handling and preparation establishments. Areas of application include garbage areas, lavatories, offices, lockers, mechanical rooms, closets, and storage areas. Do not place the device within three feet of any food handling or food preparation area. The GENTROL POINT SOURCE can also be used where conventional sprays and foggers may not be appropriate or where baits may be less effective due to competing food sources.

regulator.
Prevents developing roaches to reach sexual maturity; by inhibiting
their growth.
It is labeled for use in food areas of food handling establishments.
It is labeled for fogging in food handling establishments.
Non food areas are also labeled for use.
Excellent crack and crevice in food service areas, lasting 2 months
in a restaurant, 4 months residential.
For use indoors in homes, food establishments, and can be used alone,
with other insecticides, or in fogging machines.
Can also be used for stored product pests such as Indian Meal Moth,
Lesser Grain Beetle, Confused Flour Beetle, etc.

mimic which disrupts the normal growth development of cockroaches and
stored product pests (such as Indian meal moths, rice moths, tobacco
moths, red flour beetles, confused flour beetles, lesser grain borers,
merchant grain beetles, sawtooth grain beetles, warehouse beetles, cigarette
beetles and dermestid beetles). Roaches exposed to the Gencor IGR will
become adults incapable of reproducing.
