Each Defender™ unit can hold up to four FirstLine® GT Plus Termite Bait Stations or wooden monitors, so you can easily position any combination of wooden monitors and/or bait stations in one location for faster control.

Each four-chamber Defender unit is shipped pre-assembled with four wooden monitors and a transfer device for quick and easy installationOnly the bait stations and wooden monitors are removed – so disturbance to termites is minimized.

Larger holes on the side of the unit provide termites with easy access to FirstLine® GT Plus Termite Bait Stations or wooden monitors.
The Locking Lid secures in place to minimize disruption from pets, curious
children, nosy neighbors, and quickly unlocks with the Locking Tool.
Defender Bait Statins feature a moisture-retaining footprint
and ridged design to help termites find the Defender faster for
more hits and improved efficiency.
The four new patent-pending octagon-shaped wooden monitors are
slotted and larger than those used with the current SMARTDISC™
Locator and Monitoring Stations, meaning less frequent inspections
are required.
When wooden monitors are hit, simply replace uninfested wooden
monitors with FirstLine® GT Plus Termite Bait Stations, leaving
the infested wooden monitor in place for less disturbance.

The Firstline Defender bait station is a four-chamber housing
for termite monitoring and baiting.
Each chamber holds a FirstLine® bait station or monitor.
Because the housing stays in the ground, disturbance to termites
is minimized. You don’t have to remove the housing to change from
monitors to baits, or to replace baits.
You can easily position any combination of monitors and/or
baits in one location. You have the option of which and how many
tubes are placed in the housing. You have the option to treat
large active infestations with a multiple dose of FirstLine® baits.
This new accessory has the flexibility and firepower to help
meet every termite challenge.
And since the active ingredient in the bait, sulfluramid, is
a slow-acting stomach toxicant, it kills all types of subterranean
termites, including reproductives.

according to guidelines set forth by the Consumer Product Safety
Commission – double the protection with the Locking Lid.

SMARTDISC™ Locators and Monitoring Stations are placed around your home, about every 10 feet.
Inspect the Monitoring Stations once every two to three months for termite activity .
Once termites are found in a Monitoring Station, it is replaced with a FirstLine® GT Plus Termite Bait Station.
Each station contains the active ingredient sulfluramid, which can kill at least 80,000 termites.
Unlike other termite baiting systems, sulfluramid can kill all types of subterranean termites, including reproductives.
The active ingredient disrupts the production of energy, causing termites to die.
One important
attribute of Sulflurimid is that unlike chitin inhibitors, sulflurimid
will kill all termites that feed on it.
Even if the termite colony doesn't crash, if a substantial amount
of toxicant is eaten by the workers,
then population reduction will be achieved which may be enough to
solve the average homeowners problem.
