How to get rid of Grubs
Grubs are the larvae stage of certain types of moths and beetles. Grubs damage lawns by feeding on the root systems of desirable grasses.
The most effective time to kill grubs is while they are in the early stages of development. The earliest stages of development occur in late summer and they continue developing and grow larger into the fall.
Grub Control Products
The most effective Grub control product is Imidacloprid .5G. To get rid of grubs you spread the Imidacloprid over the yard before or during egg-laying activity for best results. It can be applied after the grub hatches but they become harder to kill as they grow in size. Heavy rainfall or irrigation will help move the insecticide into the soil and provide the best results.
